Minerva Martinez-Lopez, DNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Martinez-Lopez’s professional interests include family medicine, diabetes, and hypertension management along with a special interest in caring for Spanish-speaking patients and those from underserved communities. Before her graduate education, Minerva was a surgical transplant nurse for six years who cared for patients who received kidney, liver and pancreas transplants. She thrives on the challenge to understand things deeply and fully believes that a good nurse practitioner needs to be a champion of lifelong learning. In her free time, Minerva loves running, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and spending all the time she can with her friends and family.
